Is Your AI-Built App Safe to Launch?

Our AI app audit is for apps built with Lovable, Cursor or Bolt. We check who can read your data, where your secret keys are kept, how sign-in holds up and whether the app can take real traffic, then give you the fixes in order.

An audit of an AI-built app at work: a question arrives, such as whether one user can see another user's orders. The app owner shares read-only access to the code repository, database and hosting. One area, such as database rules, keys and secrets or sign-in and roles, is checked, tested on a test copy and ranked by severity, and each finding goes into the report with its fix. Nothing in the app is changed.

Why AI-built apps need a check before real users arrive

AI app builders get a working product in front of people fast. They do not always set the database rules, keep secret keys off the browser or plan for a busy day. Before you raise or sign larger customers, you need to know what an outsider would find.

  • “We built it in Lovable and are not sure who can read our data.”

We check the database rules table by table, so each user reads only their own records.

  • “A customer asked how our app is secured, and we had nothing to send.”

You get a written report: what was checked, what was found and how each finding is fixed.

  • “We are afraid to change anything in case it breaks.”

Findings come in order of risk, so you fix what matters first and leave the rest for later.

The gaps that show up when users stray from the plan

AI-built apps usually work well when users do what you expect, and the gaps show up when they do something else. Every audit covers these areas, from who can read your data to what happens when something fails.

  • Database access rules

The rules that decide which rows of data each user may see (row-level security), on Supabase, Firebase or your own database, so one user cannot read or change another user's records.

  • Keys and secrets

Secret keys kept on the server, never in the code sent to the browser or saved in your code repository.

  • Sign-in and roles

Sign-up, password reset and admin pages, checked so each role reaches only what it should.

  • AI features and their costs

Prompts, model keys and usage limits, so an AI feature cannot be misused or run up a bill.

  • Ready for production

Backups, error logs, monitoring and a private test copy of the app, so a bad change is caught and can be undone.

A report you can act on, and share with investors

You get a written report with every finding, its severity and its fix, in the order to tackle them, and a call where we take your team through it. Nothing in your app is changed unless you ask.

Pilot-first

What a first audit covers on your app

On your app, we review the code, database rules and hosting with the read-only access you grant, test on a private test copy, and write down what we find.

What the audit covers
One app: its code, database rules, keys, sign-in, AI features and hosting, with each finding tested on a test copy.
What you get
A written report with findings by severity, the fixes in order, and a walkthrough call. Your app is not changed.

How an AI-built app audit works

An AI-built app audit is a review of an app made with AI tools such as Lovable, Cursor or Bolt, before real users or investors rely on it. We read the code, test the database rules and sign-in as an outsider would on a test copy, check the hosting, and write down each finding with its fix.

  1. Access

You grant read-only access to the code repository, database and hosting.

  2. Scan

Automated checks for keys, open tables, packages and settings.

  3. Review

We read the code that touches data, sign-in and money.

  4. Test

We try what an outsider would, on a test copy.

  5. Report

Each finding with its severity and its fix, in order.

Audit run: a Lovable app on Supabase
  1. Access Read-only access to the code repository, the Supabase project and the hosting.
  2. Scan Finds a secret key in code that is sent to every visitor's browser.
  3. Scan Finds the orders table with its row rules (row-level security) turned off.
  4. Review Checkout trusts the price the browser sends.
  5. Test On the test copy, one user can read another user's orders. Logged as critical.
  6. Report Fix first: turn on the row rules, move the key to the server, and set the price on the server.

Supabase's own guide warns that a table left without row-level security can be read and changed by anyone the database lets in.

An example audit, step by step; not a client's app. We test on a test copy, never on your live users.

Audited by a team that reviews every app it takes over

We build and run AI apps of our own, and we review any app another team built before we change it. The audit is that review, written down for you.

  1. We ship live AI products

Gyanee.ai, which we built, and our own Chitra and ProvisCommerce are live on the App Store, Google Play and the web.

  2. Takeovers start with a review

An app another team built gets a code review and tests before we change it.

  3. Help after the audit

We can fix the findings, then monitor the app after launch and keep it updated.

  4. Hours that overlap yours

We work on India Standard Time (IST): 4.5 to 5.5 hours ahead of London and 9.5 to 10.5 ahead of New York.

Read-only access, and your live app left untouched

An audit touches the parts of your app that matter most, so we take only the access the work needs and change nothing. These are the rules on every audit.

On every audit

  • Read-only access you grant, which you can remove at any time.
  • An NDA before we start, on request.
  • Tests that could change data run on a test copy, never your live app.
  • Findings go only to the people you name.

One app, one written report, fixes only if you ask

Each audit covers one app, its code, data rules and hosting, and ends in a written report. We agree the scope and timeline at the discovery call, and nothing in your app changes unless you ask us to fix it.

The AI app builders and stacks we audit

We audit the code these tools produce, whichever one wrote it. That covers the frontend, the database and its rules, the AI features and the hosting.

Questions about the AI-built app audit

What is a vibe coded app security audit?

It is our AI-built app audit: a review of an app made with AI tools such as Lovable, Cursor or Bolt, before real users or investors rely on it. We check who can read your data, where your keys live, how sign-in holds up and whether the app is ready for production, then write down each finding with its fix.

Is a Lovable app safe to launch as it is?

It can be, but check the data rules first. If your app stores data in Supabase, Supabase's own guide warns that a table left without row-level security can be read and changed by anyone the database lets in. The audit checks every table.

Which tools and stacks do you audit?

Apps built with Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0, Cursor or Claude Code, usually React or Next.js on Supabase, Firebase or PostgreSQL, hosted on Vercel, Netlify or a cloud such as AWS. If your stack is different, tell us at the discovery call and we will say whether we can cover it.

What is in the audit, and what is not?

In: the code, database rules, keys and secrets, sign-in and roles, AI features, hosting and backups, a written report and a walkthrough call. Not in: fixing the findings, which is a separate, optional step, and any certification. The report is our review and says so.

How long does the audit take?

It depends on the size of the app and how many systems it touches. We agree the scope and timeline at the discovery call, before we start, so you know when the report will arrive.

What does an app audit cost?

It depends on the size of the app and its stack. Tell us what the app does and what it was built with, and within two working days we come back with an approach, a rough timeline and a rough number. The audit is priced up front.

What access do you need?

Read-only access to the code repository, the database project and the hosting, which you can remove at any time. We sign an NDA before we start, on request, and work only in the accounts you invite us into.

Will you change our code during the audit?

No. The audit reads and tests; anything that could change data runs on a test copy. If you want the findings fixed, we can do it as a separate step in your code repository, priced up front.

Who owns the report and any fixes?

You do. The report is yours to keep and share, and any fix we make goes into your code repository, in your company's name.

Can we show the report to investors or customers?

Yes. It lists what was checked, what was found and what has been fixed, in plain language. It is not a certification or a formal penetration test; it says what we reviewed and how.

What happens after the audit?

We take you through the report. You can fix the findings yourselves, or we fix them, priced up front, and re-check the fixed items. If you want, we then monitor the app after launch and keep it updated.

Do you work with founders in the UK and US?

Yes. We set calls to fit your working day. We sign an NDA before we start, on request, and work only in the accounts you invite us into, with read-only access you can remove at any time.
