A Talking AI Assistant That Answers Customers Face to Face

Our AI video avatar answers out loud on your site or app, from your own product pages, help articles and policies. We start with a pilot on your content.

A video avatar at work: a visitor asks a question by voice or text; the assistant behind the avatar finds the answer in your own content, such as product pages, help articles or policies; a check makes sure the answer comes from that content, or hands over to a person; and the avatar speaks the answer on video.

Why a chat box is not always enough

Some questions are easier to answer face to face, such as which plan to pick, how a product works or what to do next. A video avatar gives your site that conversation, as long as it answers only from what you have published.

  • “Visitors leave before anyone can answer their question.”

The avatar answers there and then, by voice or text, from your own content.

  • “We cannot have an AI saying things we never wrote.”

It answers only from the content you choose, and hands over to a person when that content has no answer.

  • “Our help videos are out of date as soon as we record them.”

The avatar answers from your current content, so a changed page changes the answer.

Questions people would rather ask a face

These are the jobs we build a video avatar for, from sales and support to staff training. Each one starts as a pilot on your own content.

  • Sales questions on your website

Answers questions about your products and plans from your own pages, and passes ready buyers to your sales team.

  • Support from your help centre

Talks a customer through your help articles, and hands over to a person when they hold no answer.

  • Product walkthroughs

Explains how a product works, step by step, from your guides and manuals.

  • Staff training and onboarding

Answers new starters' questions from your handbook and policies.

  • An avatar inside your app

Signed-in customers ask about their own account, through tools you approve.

An avatar that answers only from content you sign off

You get a working video avatar on your site or in your app, connected to the content it answers from. It comes with the checks that keep it to that content and instructions so your team can run it.

  • A video avatar

A face and a voice you approve, on your site or in your app.

  • A content source you sign off

The pages, articles and policies it may answer from, listed and agreed with you.

  • Answer rules

Every answer needs a source in your content. Without one, a person takes over.

  • Hand-off to your team

Questions it cannot answer go to sales or support, with the conversation so far.

  • A test set of real questions

Your questions with the answers you expect, rerun after every change.

  • Instructions and a handover for your team

The code in your own code repository, the documentation and a walkthrough.

Pilot-first

What a first video avatar pilot builds

Pilot-first: we start with a small pilot on your own data, priced up front, before any full build. You see the avatar answer your real questions on a private test link before you decide to go further.

What the pilot builds
A video avatar that answers one kind of question, such as sales or support, from content you choose, with a hand-off to your team.
What you get
The working pilot on a private test link, the test set and how it answered, and a plan for going live.

How an AI video avatar works

A video avatar is an AI assistant with a face and a voice. Behind the face, the assistant finds the answer in your own content, and the avatar speaks it on video. Speech comes in, the answer comes from your content, and speech and video go out.

  1. Question

A visitor asks, by voice or by typing.

  2. Understanding

Speech becomes text, and the assistant works out what is being asked.

  3. Checks

The assistant may answer only from the content you chose.

  4. Your content

It finds the passages that answer the question.

  5. Answer on video

The avatar speaks the answer, or hands over to a person.

Avatar run: a question about plans
  1. Question “Which plan suits a small team?” (spoken)
  2. Understanding Speech to text: a question about plans and team size.
  3. Checks Your pricing pages are in the approved content, so it may answer.
  4. Your content Searches your content for plans for small teams and finds the pricing page and the plans FAQ.
  5. Your content Reads the pricing page for the plan limits, as published.
  6. Answer on video The avatar says which plan fits, and why, in the words of your pricing page.
  7. Answer on video It offers to pass the visitor to your sales team.

Had the visitor asked about a discount your pages never mention, the avatar would have said so and handed over to a person.

One question, step by step. The avatar answers from the content you approve. Prices and promises come only from what you have published.

Voice AI we have already shipped, in Gyanee.ai

Gyanee.ai is an app we built. Your avatar gets the same care, with answers from your content, checks before anything is said, and support after launch.

View our work
  1. Voice AI we have shipped

Gyanee.ai, an app we built, takes live voice calls in Indian languages, and Chitra turns a voice note into a post.

  2. Built around your systems

We connect the avatar to the content it answers from and the site or app where it appears, instead of replacing them.

  3. Support after launch

We monitor the avatar after launch, keep it updated and improve it as new models arrive.

  4. Hours that overlap yours

We work on India Standard Time (IST): 4.5 to 5.5 hours ahead of London and 9.5 to 10.5 ahead of New York.

It speaks for your company, so we set what it may say

We keep its answers to your content and make it clear that it is an AI. These safeguards come with every avatar we build.

On every video avatar we build

  • Answers only from content you approve, with a hand-off when that content has no answer.
  • It says it is an AI, and uses a face and a voice you have the rights to.
  • Checks that block unsafe or off-topic requests (guardrails), and a check of what each question asks for.
  • A log of every conversation, with usage and cost limits.

A pilot on your own content before it meets visitors

We build the avatar around the questions people ask most, and widen it once the first answers have proved themselves.

The models and tools we build video avatars with

Standard, widely used tools, so another team could take the code over. We choose the avatar, voice and AI models with you, test them on your own questions in the pilot, and build the rest in your own cloud account.

  1. Models

OpenAI and Anthropic models, and open models on Ollama when data has to stay on your servers.

    • Anthropic Claude
    • OpenAI
    • Ollama
  2. Voice

Speech in and out in the languages your customers use; Gyanee.ai uses Sarvam AI for voice.

    • Sarvam AI
  3. Avatar

A licensed avatar service you choose, or your own presenter, filmed with their consent.

  4. Backend

FastAPI on Python, PostgreSQL with pgvector, and Redis.

    • Python
    • FastAPI
    • PostgreSQL
    • Redis
  5. Your content

Your website, help centre, documents and product data.

Questions about AI video avatar development

What is an AI video avatar?

A talking video character on your site or in your app that answers questions out loud. Behind it is an AI assistant that finds the answer in your own content, and the avatar speaks that answer with a face and a voice you approve. People can ask by voice or by typing.

How is a video avatar different from a chatbot?

The assistant behind it works like a chatbot that answers from your content. The avatar adds a face and a voice, which suits questions people would rather ask than read about, such as choosing a plan or learning a product. Speed and cost need more care, so we test both in the pilot.

How is it different from an AI agent?

An agent completes tasks in your systems, such as updating an order. A video avatar is the face on top of an assistant, and it answers and explains. We can connect the two, with each action behind an approval, once the avatar has proved itself.

Do you have a video avatar case study?

Not a public one yet, so we start every avatar with a pilot on your own content. You see it answer your real questions on a private test link before you decide to go further. Our own AI products are live, and Gyanee.ai takes live voice calls in Indian languages.

How do you stop the avatar from making things up?

It may answer only from the content you approve. When that content has no answer, it says so and hands over to a person rather than guessing. We test it on a test set of real questions with the answers you expect, and rerun it after every change.

Can the avatar look and sound like someone on our team?

Only with that person's written consent, and we check the rights to the face and the voice with you before we build. Many teams choose a licensed stock avatar instead. Either way, the avatar says it is an AI.

Which languages can it speak?

We test the languages your customers use on your own questions in the pilot. Gyanee.ai, an app we built, takes live voice calls in Indian languages, with Sarvam AI for voice, and Chitra, our post-making app, works in 9 Indian languages.

Where can the avatar appear?

On your website, inside your web or mobile app, or on a screen in your shop or office. Signed-in customers can ask about their own account through tools you approve. Visitors who are not signed in hear only your public content.

Is our data kept private?

Where your data goes is your choice. With hosted models from OpenAI or Anthropic, it is processed by that provider. With open models on your own servers or cloud through Ollama, documents and prompts stay inside your network. We sign an NDA before we start, on request.

How much does a video avatar cost to build?

Three things drive the cost: the avatar and voice you choose, how much content it answers from, and where it appears. Tell us the questions people ask, and within two working days we come back with an approach, a rough timeline and a rough number.

How long does it take to build?

It depends on the content, the languages and where the avatar appears. We start with a pilot on one kind of question, so you see it answer before we build more. We agree the timeline at the discovery call.

Who owns the code?

You do. Your code repository, cloud account and domain are in your company's name. Our team joins as collaborators, and you can remove access at any time. After launch we monitor the avatar, keep it updated and improve it as new models arrive.

Do you work with UK and US clients from India?

Yes. We sign an NDA before we start, on request, and work only in the accounts you invite us into. The code repository, cloud account and domain stay in your company's name.
