How Provis built the B2B store for Natural Uniforms Wholesale.
Natural Uniforms Wholesale sells scrubs and uniforms in bulk to businesses, schools and organisations in the United States. Its products have hundreds of size and colour variations, and bulk buyers had to add each one by hand. Provis built its B2B WooCommerce store with a quick-order grid, price tiers every buyer can see and an embroidery step.
Client: Natural Uniforms WholesaleScrubs and uniforms sold in bulk, United StatesA store made for ordering in bulk.
From Provis project notes, 2026.
- 340+
- sizes and colours on one product
- Pages that took over 10 seconds now load quickly from a saved copy
- One step
- to order a full size range
- Pick a colour, type how many of each size, and add them all at once
- Bulk prices
- shown to everyone
- The more you buy, the lower the price, and every visitor can see it
At a glance
- Problem
Products with 340+ variations took 10+ seconds to load, a full size run took many separate add-to-carts, volume prices were not visible to every buyer and embroidery was handled outside the store.
- Solution
Provis built a B2B WooCommerce store with a variation cache, a quick-order grid, per-product price tiers and an "Add Embroidery Services" step with logo upload and preview.
- Result
Heavy pages now load from a cache, a size run goes into the cart in one step, every visitor sees the volume price, and embroidery orders arrive through the store. Live and supported.

Bulk buyers had to add every size and colour one at a time.
Natural Uniforms Wholesale sells scrub sets and uniforms in bulk to clinics, businesses, schools and organisations. nuniforms.com, nuniformswholesale.com, WholesaleScrubSets and WholesaleScrubs are one client group: Natural Uniforms, the supplier. This is the wholesale store; the others are the consumer store, WholesaleScrubs and WholesaleScrubSets.
Buyers added each size and colour to the cart one at a time, so a clinic ordering one style in 6 sizes and several colours made many separate additions. Products with 340+ variations also took 10+ seconds to load. The aim was a fast, self-serve way to order a large multi-size catalogue at volume prices.

How a bulk buyer ordered before, and what made it slow.
Four things that slowed bulk buyers, and what fixed each.
These are the four problems Provis fixed in the wholesale store.
-
Product pages took 10+ seconds to load
Products with 340+ variations were rebuilt on every page view.
What Provis builtVariation data cachedThe variation data is cached instead of rebuilt on each view, so heavy pages load from the cache.
-
Ordering a full size run took many add-to-carts
Each size and colour went into the cart on its own.
What Provis builtA quick-order gridThe buyer picks a colour, types a quantity per size and adds the whole grid at once. A full size run in one colour goes into the cart in one step.
-
Volume prices were not visible to every buyer
A buyer could not see the better price before ordering.
What Provis builtPrice tiers shown to everyoneEach product has its own price tiers, set per product. They show to everyone, guests included, the price drops as the quantity rises, and a tier table sits on the page.
-
Embroidery was handled outside the store
Logos and embroidery orders did not go through the store.
What Provis builtAn "Add Embroidery Services" stepThe buyer uploads a logo (BMP, JPG or TIFF, up to 1 MB) and sees a preview on the garment. Embroidery orders now arrive through the store with the logo attached.
Built in four phases, from 13 March to 1 May 2026.
- Phase 1, from 13 March 2026Setup, project notes and the three custom modules
- Phase 2, 6 to 18 AprilThe embroidery step and cart, the category restructure and Spanish translation, clearance pages, checkout, and returns and exchanges
- Phase 3, 20 to 28 AprilProduct pages for the main styles, the cart, and the 3030, 3602SET and 3400SET styles
- Phase 4, 30 April to 1 MayA second round on embroidery: logo upload and preview
-
What was built: a B2B store with three custom modules: a quick-order grid, per-product tier pricing and a variation cache.
-
Checkout: card payments through Square and Stripe, plus returns and exchanges, added mid-build on 16 to 18 April.
-
Volume prices: set per product by the store admin, so the price drops automatically as the quantity rises.
-
How it ran: dated screenshots of each page and flow for review, from home to checkout, and embroidery came back for a second round.
Built for speed:
Heavy pages now load from a cache.
A product with 340+ variations no longer rebuilds them on every view, and the quick-order grid puts a whole size run into the cart at once.
Products with 340+ variations took 10+ seconds to load before the cache.
Price tiers show to every visitor, guests included.
